What is guidance and where can it be found?
The Guidance widget is located in the different tabs on Case Manager at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. The information within the Guidance widget will vary based on what page you’re in. The Guidance widget offers the end user instruction or suggestions for each page. Admins can customize guidance to share with end users.
How does an Admin customize guidance?
As an Admin you must have permissions to manage guidance. If you don’t have access to manage guidance, please contact your organization’s administrator.
First, click the Admin tab at the top of the screen.
Select ‘Manage Guidance’ from the side menu.
Click ‘New Guidance’ to create your own prompts. Enter a title corresponding to the advice you are providing for end users. Select which page you’d like the guidance to appear on. Type the guidance into the content section and click save.
If you’d like to preview pre-existing guidance on the ‘Manage Guidance’ page, hover over the three dots on the right of the guidance. Select the ‘Preview’ option. If you decide you do not want the pre-existing guidance to show for your users, again hover over the three dots on the right of the guidance. Click ‘Disable’.
