Campus Glossary- P3
This article provides a comprehensive glossary of the key words, phrases, and acronyms associated with P3.
Admin User: P3 Campus user within the district/state who has the highest level of access within the program.
Canned Responses: Pre-defined messages created by Admin Users to use in two-way dialog when applicable.
Event Type: The type of concern a tipster will select when making their report. (i.e., “self-harm”, “bullying”, “academic dishonesty”, etc.).
Life Safety Tip: Special designation for Event Types that require immediate intervention to prevent loss of life and/or property.
Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT): A group of Recipient Contacts at the school level consisting of school administrators, counselors or mental health professionals, school resource officers, key teachers, etc. This could also be known as the Risk Assessment or School Safety team.
Program Coordinator: The primary decision maker and point of contact for the P3 Campus Program. Note: P3 Support is unable to make any changes to account settings or permission levels unless authorized by the Program Coordinator.
Recipients: Schools or other entities (such as law enforcement agencies and social services teams) associated with the P3 Campus Program. Tipsters will select the Recipient when submitting a report to a specific school or agency.
Recipient Contact: Individuals assigned to a Recipient. Recipient Contacts can be assigned to multiple Recipients within the P3 Campus Program.
Recipient Contact Administrator (RCA): The designated “team lead” for Recipient Contacts who is able to change and edit the permissions of their assigned Recipient Contacts as needed.
Reports (Tips): A reportable concern submitted by a student or parent. The two terms, Reports and Tips, are used interchangeably within the P3 Campus platform.
Tip Manager: Catchall term for anyone (Admin User or Recipient Contact) with login access to P3.
Two Way Dialog: Chat function in P3 for anonymous communication with tipster in real-time.
Status Types: Customizable list of statuses designed to communicate tip status. Common examples are “Open”, “Under Investigation”, and “Closed”.
