With Visitor Management, you can utilize a webcam to scan US state-issued IDs and Driver’s Licenses when checking a visitor into the building. VM integrates with BlinkID Technology (from MicroBlink) to provide a vast list of supported IDs to scan.
The list of IDs supported with VM include:
- U.S. State-based Driver’s License
- U.S. State-based ID Card
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Passport Card
- Consulate Card (Date of Birth must also be present in addition to First and Last Name)
The ID scanning for VM scans a single side of the ID card and requires a First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Picture to be visible on the ID.
For the full list of compatible IDs, you can visit BlinkID’s webpage below (please note that Visitor Management only supports US-based IDs and Driver’s Licenses).
