With Visitor Management, you can utilize a webcam to scan US state-issued IDs and Driver’s Licenses when checking a visitor into the building. VM integrates with BlinkID Technology (from MicroBlink) to provide a vast list of supported IDs to scan.
The list of IDs supported with VM include:
- U.S. State-based Driver’s License
- U.S. State-based ID Card
- U.S. Passport
- U.S. Passport Card
The ID scanning for VM scans a single side of the ID card and requires a First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Picture to be visible on the ID.

Web Camera Installation & Configuration Instructions:

Assemble the Web Camera Hardware
- Attach the tripod to the camera and securely tighten it.
- Extend the tripod legs fully for stability.
- Adjust the camera angle downward, ensuring it's between two tripod legs.
- Tighten the top adjuster to lock the position.
- Remove the protective cover from the webcam lens.
- Connect the webcam to the computer via USB.

Configure the Camera in Navigate360 Visitor Management
- Go to Navigate360VM.com and click the device settings icon.
- Open the Camera Setup section.
- Click Start Camera and grant permissions if prompted by the browser.
- Confirm the preview of the scanned license appears.
- Click Save Changes to finalize setup.

Test the Camera in the Platform
- Click the Visitor Icon in the top left.
- Select Check-In Visitor.
- Ensure the license appears in the preview and is scanned successfully.
- If scanning issues arise:
- Adjust the camera angle and tripod position.
- Check lighting conditions to reduce shadows and glare.
