Permitted Usage for ALICE Active Shooter Training Materials
This article provides an overview of the acceptable uses of the ACI system.
These materials were created by Navigate360 and are considered the property of Navigate360. Unless otherwise indicated on ALICE materials, only individuals who have received an ALICE Instructor Certificate by completing the two-day ALICE Training® class may use our materials for a Non-Commercial Activity provided the following:
- These materials are not represented as the official ALICE Training® materials. Only Navigate360 can conduct official ALICE Training®, issue individual ALICE certificates of any kind, or certify a school district as ALICE compliant.
- Any public safety officer may only use these materials to deliver training to a Public Entity with in their jurisdiction and while on duty without charge.
- Materials providing specific background, theory, research, or best practice skills and/or guidance may not be altered or changed.
- Any other use, whether commercial or educational, is prohibited without the prior written consent of Navigate360.
“Non-Commercial Activity” shall mean any activity that does not generate income, whether direct or indirect. (Example: school in-service training for school districts)
“Public Entity” shall mean any government institution or an agency of the government at a county, city, or district level only. (Examples: public school district or county courthouse)
