Adult users (teachers and administrators) have the ability to switch between an admin view (where users and assignments are managed) and the student view (where content can be viewed like a student). If a user cannot switch back and forth, a district/school admin should check the Roles assigned to the user.
Adult users in Compass Curriculum (including teachers and administrators) must have the roles of Admin, User, and A360 Staff assigned.
Additional roles (e.g. instructor, district admin) can be added to meet access needs, but Admin, User, and A360 Staff are the minimum requirements.
Please see Understanding User Roles for more information.
How a User Can Switch View
- Student View to Admin - Click Admin in the top, right corner of the Student View
- Admin to Student View - Click Student View, at the bottom left of the Admin menu
