Mobile App - Notification Preferences
Learn how to manage Guardian Notification preferences from the Visitor Check-in Mobile App
District Admin, Building Admins and Staff users can invite existing visitors (click here to learn more) to use the mobile application in scenarios in which visitors are allowed to schedule visits ahead of time and student late check-ins/early check-outs ahead of time (click here to learn more). Once the visitor downloads the mobile app and sets up their account, they can also manage their Notification Preferences for all students that have been linked to their Visitor Profile.
- Log In with Email and Password used during Account Setup
- Select the Profile icon in the top right of the screen and navigate to the Notification Preferences tab
- From this screen, Visitors can perform the below actions:
- Enable or disable the preferred Notification Types they would like to receive for students linked to their profile
- Late Check-in
- Early Check-out
- Select the preferred Delivery Method for each student linked to their profile
- Text
- The Select All option above each column can also be used to apply the delivery method to all linked students
- Enable or disable the preferred Notification Types they would like to receive for students linked to their profile
- Select Save Changes
Visitor Profile in Visitor Management - Guardian Notifications
Notification Preferences saved via the Visitor Check-in Mobile App will also be saved to the Visitor's Profile in Visitor Management. Allowing District Amins, Building Admins, and Staff Users to view and manage the visitor's Guardian Notifications from the Staff-Assisted station as well.
