Opt-in to SMS Text & Email notifications for Emergency & Drill Alarms- EMS
Learn how school staff can opt-in to receive a text message and/or email notification when an alarm or drill has been activated for their building.
SMS Text and Email alerts can be sent for the following events:
- Drill or alarm activated
- Reunification activated
- Drill or alarm ended
SMS Text and/or Email alerts can be set up by following these steps:
- Log into EMS
- Click on your name at the bottom left corner to access your account profile
- Click on User Details from the left-hand menu in your account profile
- Enter your phone number and/or email address
- Scroll down and click save
- Next, click on Rapid Alarm settings the left-hand menu in your account profile
- Scroll down to the Rapid Alerts section
- Click to select either SMS text and/or email alerts
- Scroll down and click save
- You will now be opted in to receive alerts
