ALICE Certified Instructors (ACIs) are required to complete recertification in order to maintain their status as instructors and access to instructor resources.

To be eligible for the 2025 recertification, ACIs must have passed the Enhanced ALICE Certified Instructor eLearning assigned in the ALICE Portal after November of 2021 and have an Enhanced ALICE Certified Instructor certificate expiration date in 2025. 

The Enhanced ALICE Certified Instructor eLearning was assigned either

1. Following 2 days of live training and passing the teach-back starting November 2021 for new ACIs, or
2. During the ALICE Enhancement transition. ACIs were required to complete this course by June 30, 2022 to retain their ACI status

ACIs can login to the ALICE Portal (https://portal.alicetraining.com) and review their expiration date by clicking the Gold Seal icon next to their completed Enhanced ALICE Certified Instructor course.

ACIs must take the new course that will be assigned. Reviewing the content of an old eLearning will not grant a new certification

ACIs that did not complete the Enhanced ALICE Certified Instructor course during the transition before June 30, 2022, are no longer active ACIs. They will have to start over as a new instructor. This includes paying for and passing an in-person “New Instructor” course.
