Release Notes (12/10/2024): Guardian Notifications & VM/EM Integration Enhancements

Feature Enhancement - Guardian Notifications
Visitor Profile:
For visitors that have at least one student linked to their profile, all users will now see a Notifications option added to the Visitor Profile. Allowing users to manage the guardian's notification preferences for each student linked to their Visitor Profile.
Additionally, all users will now have the ability to manually add or update a visitor's email address directly from their Visitor Profile. This will allow users to set up email notifications for guardians without needing to invite them to the Visitor Check-in Mobile App.

Visitor Check-in Mobile App:
Approved Visitors that have been invited to the Visitor Check-in Mobile App will see an updated Notification Preferences screen. Allowing them to select which students they would like to receive Late Check-in and Early Check-out notifications for.

Feature Enhancement - VM & EM Integration
The below enhancements apply to customers with active subscriptions to both Navigate360 Visitor Management (VM) and Emergency Management (EM).
Alarm Notification Banner:
All users will see that the Alarm Activation banner is updated to use a separate color scheme for alarms that have been activated in Drill and Training modes, along with a tag showing the alarm mode that was selected. Ensuring that the bright red color scheme is reserved for real life emergencies.
Users will also see improved banner timing, allowing the banner to be displayed immediately when an alarm is activated in VM or EM and removed when an alarm is ended from EM.

Visitor SMS Message Upon Check-in:
Visitors that have a mobile number saved to their Visitor Profile will now receive a text notification after checking into a building. Informing them that their visit details have been passed to Emergency Management, in case an emergency occurs during their visit.

Additional Issues Resolved
- Text Security Alert notifications failing to send for users in specific districts
- In Building Panel failing to update automatically after Visitors or Staff check in/out
- Parents/Guardians linked to Student Profiles not being displayed on the All Student List
- The “Other” Early Check-out Reason causing a white screen when checking out a student on a Staff-Assisted Station
- Alarm Activation workflow being displayed for certain districts without an active subscription to Emergency Management
- Visit Time/Auto-Checkout Time Settings failing to save correctly for Building Admins
- White Screen issue when attempting to view a System Notification on the Activity Log page
