Campus360 can connect to a school or district Student Information System (SIS) so that emergency roll call stays accurate in real time. When an alarm is activated, roll call in Emergency Management reflects which students are actually on campus at that moment, including students who left campus earlier in the day.

This article is for system administrators and technical staff who configure Campus360 and connect district data sources. It explains what the integration does, what it depends on, and how its two layers work together. Accurate attendance during an emergency directly supports reunification and student accounting, and it removes the need to manually mark students who are not on campus during a live event.
 

How the Integration Works:

The SIS integration is delivered in two layers. Both must be in place for real-time attendance to work during an emergency. 

Layer 1: Baseline Roster Integration

The baseline layer connects district roster data to Navigate360 through a rostering platform. This connection is required and uses Clever or ClassLink. It remains required even when a direct SIS integration is added in Layer 2.

Layer 2: Real-Time Attendance Integration

The second layer connects directly to the district SIS to pull real-time attendance. This lets Emergency Management know, at the moment an alarm is activated, whether a student has already left campus for the day. A student who checked out before the alarm automatically shows as not on campus during roll call, with no manual action from staff, because the SIS data already reflects that status.
