Student Profile
Learn about the Student Profile Information, Actions and Tabs
District Admins, Building Admins and Staff Users can interact with the Student Profile to view the needed information. They can also perform needed actions, such as perform a late check-in or early check-out, add notes (including custody notes), instructions and add any needed attachments. To access the Student Profile, follow the below steps:
- Log into Visitor Management as a District Admin, Building Admin or Staff User
- Navigate the Students Page by clicking the academic hat icon on the side navigation menu
- Search for and select the needed Student Name
Student Profile
Student Information
Students
Users will see the below information on the top of the Student Profile:

Student Name
- Captured the SIS sync
-
Grade
- Captured the SIS sync

Student ID
- Captured the SIS sync

Barcode/RFID
- Added as a part of the Student Barcode/RFID Import process. Users can also manually add a Barcode/RFID number for the student by clicking on the pencil icon.

Tardies
- If the count of Tardies exceeds the limit set on the Admin Settings - Student Tracking page, then the user will see a warning icon. When this icon is clicked the user will be able to notify linked Parents/Guardians from the SIS and also assign a detention, if needed.

Detentions
- Count of assigned detentions

Custody Instructions
- Only displayed if Custody Instructions are added in the Notes and Instructions Actions workflow
Profile Actions
Students
Users will be able to perform the below actions directly from the Student Profile:

Late Check-in
- User is able to check a student in late.

- User is able to check a student in late.

Early Check-out
- User is able to check a student out early.
- To learn more about the staff-assisted student early check-out process, click here.
- User is able to check a student out early.

Notes and Instructions
- User is able to click on +Add Note button and add the needed note text. If there any visitors linked to the student, the user can link the note to the needed visitor for the note to also display on the Visitor Profile. The user can also mark as a note as a Custody Instructions. If so, the text in the Custody Instructions note will display on the Information section and on the linked Visitor Profile.

Attachments
- User is able to upload files associated with the Student. Supported formats: docx, doc, pdf, eml, msg, jpeg, txt, rtf, or odt. If there any visitors linked to the student, the user can link the attachment to the needed visitors for the attachment to also display on the Visitor Profile.

Assign Detention
- Users are able to assign a detention to a student by clicking on the Assign Detention from the Detentions tab.
- User can fill out the below information and print a detention slip:
- Date
- Multiple dates can be added
- Time
- Duration
- Room #
- Additional Comments (optional)
- Include Signature Line
- Check this option to print a signature line on the detention slip.
- Click Save and Print to print a detention slip
- Date
Profile Tabs
Students
Users will be able to view the below information directly from the Student Profile:

- Date
- Check-in Time
- Type
- Excused or Unexcused
- Reason
- Building
- Actions
- Users will be able to edit or delete a Late check-in by clicking on the ellipsis on the needed row and click either Edit Event or Delete Event.
- Edit Event - The Late Check-in Time, Reason and Type can be edited by the user, they can then click the Confirm button.
- Delete Event - The user will be asked to confirm the deletion before the event is deleted.
- Users will be able to edit or delete a Late check-in by clicking on the ellipsis on the needed row and click either Edit Event or Delete Event.

- Users will be able to edit or delete a Late check-in by clicking on the ellipsis on the needed row and click either Edit Event or Delete Event.
- Edit Event - The Early Check-out time, Person Checking Out Student and Reason can be edited by the user, they can then click the Confirm button.
- Delete Event - The user will be asked to confirm the deletion before the event is deleted.
- Users will be able to edit or delete a Late check-in by clicking on the ellipsis on the needed row and click either Edit Event or Delete Event.
