Back-to-School Checklist
⏹️ Check district rosters. Navigate360 will resume syncing with Student Information Systems (SIS) the week of August 1. This is for those districts integrated through Clever, ClassLink or ProgressBook. Starting Friday, August 5, please verify that student lists appear correct. If the information is not correct, please verify that information is correct with your SIS administrator. Then contact Navigate360 tech support at tech@navigate360.com.
⏹️ Review BCM Teams. Make sure BCM team access is up to date across all school sites so users can quickly react to and access information for relevant cases. Updates can be made in an admin account under the “Manage Users” section, with additional guidance available on permissions and basic user setup.
⏹️ Check out the new library of processes available to districts in the Student Wellbeing Library - these expertly-built processes are available for districts to use in managing situations from bullying to Title IX investigations and can be customized in detail.
⏹️ Build, review or update custom processes with the workflow configurability tool. New case types could include the bullying prevention forms or mental health screening workflows included in the Student Wellbeing Library, or local variations and workflows. Update any customized guidance your district has deployed to ensure it reflects current internal policies and expectations.
🔹 Models are broken down into versions as users make edits, ensuring previously created cases retain their form and function. Although edits can be made at any time, ahead of a new school year is the best time to lock in changes so that user pathways and reporting are solidified before things get busy.
🔹 Make sure reporting requirements are accounted for as fields within your processes; requirements around Threat Assessment and Title IX can change from year to year or by state, and our configurability tools can be used to add the questions needed to collect this information.
⏹️ Check your email filters Ensure the navigate360.com domain is allowed in your district email/spam filters to ensure users receive important communications.

Back-to-School Tips & Tricks
The 2024-25 back-to-school season will be here before you know it! Our product experts have created these helpful tips to help you start the new school year off right!
🔹 Using multiple processes (like Non-Suicidal Self-Injury and Suicide Prevention)? Consider adding links between processes so users can flow from one to another as their work naturally dictates.
🔹 Talk to neighboring districts using Case Manager about the District Transfer Portal and potential of sharing cases when students transfer. Establishing a collaborative process can ensure teams are aware in detail of student interventions for those students transferring into a new district.
🔹 Talk to key internal stakeholders about new or existing processes that could be added into your district's Case Manager account - things that are currently being tracked on paper and pencil or other local systems may be more uniformly and visibly managed in Case Manager.
🔹 Has your district considered using the Teams Meetings feature to track team reviews of cases and process planning? Implementing this feature as part of district behavior management processes ahead of a new school year helps ensure discussions and decisions of note are captured with fidelity.
Key Features
Behavioral Case Manager boasts a host of features, available across all models, most of which were developed based on feedback from those in the field and their biggest pain points when assessing, intervening, and documenting behavioral concerns.
