Overview
As part of your ongoing safety procedures, we recommend periodically reviewing the status of assigned wearable panic buttons (badges) within the Wearables dashboard. Regular health checks help ensure that every badge is charged, in communication with a hub, and ready to use in an emergency.
What to Monitor
When reviewing your badges, pay attention to the following:

Understanding a Stale Status
A Stale status typically means a badge has not recently checked in with a hub. In many cases, the device is still powered on but is currently outside of hub coverage, or it simply hasn't communicated with the system recently.
If a badge remains stale for an extended period, we recommend verifying that it is charged and functioning properly.
How to Review Badge Information
- Log in to Emergency Management.
- Navigate to Rapid Alarm.
- Select Command Center.
- Under Administration, select Wearables.
- Choose [Your District Name] to view all assigned devices and their current status.
Note: Replace the district name above with your organization's specific site as it appears in your Wearables dashboard.
Recommendation
Incorporate periodic badge health checks into your regular safety procedures to help ensure devices are ready when needed.
